Population Census is the total process of collecting, compiling, analyzing and disseminating demographic, economic and social data pertaining, at a specific time, of all persons in a our community/samaj or a well-defined part of a our society. It also provides the trends in population characteristics. The Samaj Census is one of the largest administrative exercises undertaken in the karnataka for SAK Samaj

Significance of Census:

The SAK Census is the largest single source of a variety of statistical information on different characteristics of the people of SAK in Karnataka. Researchers and Demographers use census data to analyze growth and trends of population and make projections.

The data collected through the census is used for administration, planning and policy making as well as management and evaluation of various programmes by the State committee.

Census data is also used for demarcation of Society Blocks and allocation of representation to State comittee and the local bodies.

The census data is also important for business/Matrimony, Education and Jobs and helps to uplift under previledged families of our communities to strengthening and planning their business for penetration into areas, which had hitherto remained, uncovered.

Most of Government Finance Commission provides grants to the states on the basis of population of respective community and figures available from the Census data.This data will help us in near future to get all kinds of grants from Government and our right to live and bring harmony ,equaility and diginity to our beloved society members. We humbly request you all to participate in this program and enroll and encourage your relatives and family members to participate in this great event to uplift our society and show the power of Unity to the remaining World by coming togather with unity and prospertiy.
